Cajun Gambling

I was asked to make some cookies for an event and the theme was Cajun and gambling.  What do I automatically think of...? Crawfish!  Probably because I could eat 5 lbs of it by myself, right now.

My favorite cookie from this assortment was the dice...or is it die?

These cookies were fun to make!

Admin Day

I wanted to do something for all of the administrative assistants in my department at work (there are several) and these mini roses were perfect!

These are probably the easiest cookies to make.  Ever. For the roses, I use a stiff piping icing and a Wilton 1M tip.  Done.

I had some thank you cards on hand so I wrote a little note and trimmed them to fit the size of the bags and stapled them.  Easy!

I also had these little bags that I found on clearance a Michaels a while back so I ended up clipping a small note to them as well. :)

I really could not survive without, Irma, the administrative assistant for my department. She is my right and left hand.
Thank you to all admins for everything you do!

I'm back!

So I am officially a blog-loser.  I really have good intentions but now that I have found pinterest in addition to my full-time job, 2 kiddos, the hubs, cookies, lacrosse, facebook and trying to have a social life....ugh!! I make a pledge to do better.  To those of you out there who take time to look at my little blog, view my pics and read my rants, THANKS!

With that said, I am going to cram three months worth of sweets into one post. :)

I made these cheerful cookies for my ridiculously creative friend and super-mom, Erin. She has a little side gig in addition to the other 568 things she does everyday.  She created the WiG logo and my kiddos' birthday invites/printables. Check her out!

Erin actually created the invite that these cookies were made to match as well!  I am in LOVE with this font. You will see it again.  And again.

Romantic cake bites for V-Day

This has been a very popular theme for baby showers lately.  I have done cookies for 3 different boy baby showers with the theme "Boys Rock!"

Recognize this guy?  It's Rocket from Little Einsteins.

I'm not going to lie; I loved these cookies. They were made for my special friends, Amanda and George, owners of Pretzels Pleaze.   Check out what they did with them here. More about their awesomeness in a separate post. :)

The dinos, for my friend, Shelly were made to match this invite from Anders Ruff.

I had to get creative with the packaging here since the dinos were bigger and I didn't want their tails to break.  Shelly sent me the tags and I attached them.

A little B-ball action

The birdcages were for an 80th birthday and some of my most favorite yet.

A baby girl assortment for one of the most deserving new moms I know.  ;)

So unfortunately, I cannot ship cookies right now due to the amount of time it takes to package them.  I will ship however, for Kate of CupKate's Event Design.  She totally rocks in every way possible.  She is also a genius.  These cookies were to be tied to a balloon and put at each place setting at the table for the girls during the birthday party.  I know....genius!!!!

More on the pizzas later...they were for my son's Chuck E Cheese pizza party.

I was told I could do anything I wanted for a ladies luncheon and I have been wanting to use my paisley cutter for a while now.

Phew!  There are so many more cookies in the last three months that I did not get a chance to take pics of for lack of time.

More coming your way!!
